Red Hook has Climate Action Plan (CAP), is a NYS Climate Smart Community and was recently designated a Clean Energy Community. We have pledged to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while at the same time promoting economic development and social equity. Whether through trails, energy projects, tree planting or compost there are many ways to lead efforts in Red Hook. Step your way to a Red Hook Together meeting to tell us how you want to help.
Bicycle Rack Sphere competition
Using the theme of Moving Planet as their inspiration, five artists created artistic embellishments on twelve-inch fiberglass spheres. Four are affixed to bicycle racks in Red Hook. The locations are Taste Budd's Cafe, Village Hall, Town Hall, Migliorelli's Farm Stand, and Holy Cow in Hardscrabble Plaza - celebrate art married to function!
